With our made-to-measure foam and cushion cutting service, you're free to design products to suit your space, your desires and your technical specifications. Each project is made to your exact dimensions, with meticulous finishing touches.
The coverings we use are selected for their robustness and durability, both indoors and out: water-repellent fabrics, UV and weather resistant, and hard-wearing. You can also order upholstery accessories online to complete your projects or repairs.

- Where are the products made?
All our products are processed and manufactured in our workshop in Les Achards, in the Vendée. Local expertise for your made-to-measure projects.
Foams
- What is the difference between high-resilience (HR) foam and polyether foam?
HR (High Resilience) foam is a superior quality foam. It offers greater comfort and rebound, as well as excellent durability. It is ideal for intensive seating (sofas, benches, mattresses) because it recovers its shape well and resists sagging.
Polyether foam is more economical, thanks to its simpler structure. It is suitable for occasional or decorative uses, such as backrests, occasional cushions or seats that are not subject to heavy use.
For regular use, choose HR foam. For occasional use, polyether foam is sufficient.- Are density and firmness the same thing?
No! Density (kg/m³) measures the amount of material, while firmness depends on the type of foam. A 35 kg HR foam may be harder than a 38 kg HR foam.
The denser the foam, the longer it will last. Hardness refers to the foam's load-bearing capacity, i.e. the pressure required to compress it.Cutting

Yes, custom cutting is our speciality!
You can enter your exact dimensions (length, width, thickness and shape) using our configurator, and we'll make the foam to your measurements.- Can I order any size?
Just about! We can make many shapes and sizes, but some very large or very small sizes may be limited by the materials or the machine.

Our cutting machine has a tolerance zone of 5mm.
- Do you offer special shape cutting?
For the moment, we only offer simple shapes such as rectangles, squares and cylinders.
- Can I contact you for a specific or complex project?

Delivery
- How long does it take to prepare an order?
Preparation time depends on the type of order:
- Standard products: 1 to 3 working days
- Made-to-measure products: 3 to 6 working days
We are committed to satisfying you as quickly as possible, but never without compromising quality.
- What is the delivery time?
Once your order has been dispatched, it usually arrives within 48 to 72 hours (excluding Corsica and international orders). We work with reliable carriers to guarantee the best delivery times.
- What are the delivery options?
You can collect your parcels by click and collect directly from Ruchaud or have them delivered to your home by courier.
- Do you deliver to Corsica or abroad?
Today, we do not deliver to Corsica or abroad.
Payment & Returns
- What payment methods are available?
We accept payment by credit card and PayPal. All transactions are carried out on a secure site.
- Can I return a product?
Standard products may be returned within 14 days, in accordance with the legal right of withdrawal. For made-to-measure items, the right of withdrawal does not apply, except in the event of a defect.
