Tailor-made furniture for a place like no other!
When the world of rock meets traditional craftsmanship, the result is a project as audacious as it is captivating. At Ruchaud, we recently had the privilege of working with Hellcity, the brand new brewpub in Clisson, Loire-Atlantique, just a stone's throw from the Hellfest festival.
This unusual venue, at the crossroads of the worlds of craft breweries, restaurants and rock lifestyle, opened its doors on 28 February 2025. It has already become an iconic address for fans of metal, industrial chic and authentic experiences.
Rounded bench seat
Custom-made rounded bench seatin camel imitation leather from the brand SpradlingIt is designed to follow the curve of the structure while optimising the use of space. Its welcoming design and free-standing cushions combine comfort, style and functionality, perfectly integrated into the rock and industrial ambience of the space.
Bench and armchair cushions
A cosy lounge area with a straight banquette and wooden armchairs with comfortable cushions around a round table with a marble top. The layout is designed to encourage comfort and conviviality, in an elegant and resolutely rock spirit.
Working together for design and comfort
Le Hellcity project was brought to life by a team of enthusiasts, with an interior designed by Pauline Moussier that is dark, elegant and resolutely rock. L'furniture layout has been designed down to the smallest detail to fit perfectly with this ambience.
Our mission design and manufacture all the bespoke benches and cushions for the venue, working closely with Pauline Moussier and the other craftspeople involved in the project.
Our objective? Allier :
- Aesthetics and consistency with the visual universe of the venue,
- Optimum seating comfort for brewpub customers,
- Durability to withstand intensive use.
Result: Elegant leatherette seats, rounded, modular bench seating, and perfect integration into a breathtaking decor.
A place steeped in history, looking to the future
Hellcity has come to life in one of Clisson's most emblematic locations: the former site of Le Louxor nightclub, beloved of Philippe Katerine. This legendary venue has now been given a new lease of life, without losing any of its character.
