Choosing the right foam
A complete guide to your interior and exterior projects
Choosing the right foam is essential to guarantee the comfort, durability and suitability for use of your cushions, mattresses or seats. Whether you're planning to fit out your interior, renovate your van or mobile home, upholster your boat or build your outdoor furniture, this guide will help you select the ideal foam according to its type, density and firmness.
Foams for indoor use
High Resilience (HR) foams
HR foam (High Resilience) is a superior quality foam. It offers greater comfort and rebound, as well as excellent durability. It is ideal for intensive seating (sofas, benches, mattresses) because it recovers its shape well and resists sagging. HR foams are M4 fire-rated materials.

Polyether foams
Polyether foam is the standard quality. It is more economical than HR foam, due to its simpler structure. It is suitable for more occasional or decorative uses, such as backrests, occasional cushions or seats that don't get much use.

Foams for outdoor use
For outdoor or damp environments, we use Dryfeel® foams, designed to resist water, mould and demanding climatic conditions. Their open-cell structure allows water to evacuate quickly, guaranteeing much faster drying than conventional foam.
Dryfeel® dries up to three times faster than traditional foams and can reduce the drying time of a complete cushion by up to 50 %. Its durability is excellent, even after immersion in seawater or swimming pools, and its built-in protection against mould and bacteria makes it ideal for all outdoor uses. It is particularly recommended for garden furniture, sun loungers, boat cushions, swimming pool cushions and camping equipment.
- Dryfeel MS foam - Flexible - Colour: Beige
